Where I Fell In Love With Storytelling

My siblings and I have always been close, and to this day a bond that remains strong. This is one of those photos that you just look in wonder. It wasn’t professionally taken or posed, but it holds a moment that means the world to me.

This was the night our parents moved out and went their separate ways. The weight of that change hit hard—first with sadness, then anger. But through it all, there was something stronger: the love and connection we shared. That night, after helping them move, we went through the basement reminiscing.

In the middle of our laughter, my mom snapped this photo—just as Jordan pinched Daniel and nearly got himself punched. For a brief moment, the heaviness lifted.

That memory, in one of the hardest moments of my life, is the reason I love photography. To me, genuine, unfiltered moments matter, they hold raw emotions, stories, and the feeling of being right back in that moment. That’s why I became a wedding photographer—to preserve the love, the laughter, and the in-between moments that truly matter.
