Let me share how I found my way into wedding photography here in Saint Louis, Missouri, and beyond
I've spent my entire career in the customer service industry, and I love it because of the incredible people I get to meet, the conversations I have, and the stories they share. As someone who thrives on connection, I consider it a huge blessing to be in a field where I can engage with so many wonderful individuals. But even more so, it’s an honor to learn about their lives in ways that go far beyond what any corporate job could offer. Being invited to document a couple’s wedding day, to witness and capture their commitment to one another, is one of the greatest honors I’ve ever experienced in my professional life.

Why I chose Wedding Photography
I still remember the first time I picked up a camera. A friend of mine wanted to practice with his lighting setup and asked me to model for him. When he showed me the photos he took, I’ll never forget how I felt. That moment sparked something in me, and I’ve felt that same excitement every time I step behind the camera. I asked if I could take a picture of him (though he had all the settings dialed in), and I was blown away by how this small device could create art that someone would love forever. From that moment, I had an insatiable desire to learn everything about photography.
One of my mentors once quoted Peter Hurley, who said, “This camera we hold in our hands profoundly affects the perception your clients have of themselves.” That hit me hard—I wanted to help people see how beautiful they truly are. And what better place to do that than at weddings, where emotions run high, and the moments are unforgettable? I’ve always been a people person, and there’s no better place for that than a wedding. I became a wedding photographer to be part of the celebration, to connect with couples on a deep level, and to create images that help them relive the most important day of their lives.
As a bonus, wedding photography allows me to be home during the week with my amazing wife and watch my beautiful children grow. I’m incredibly grateful to be able to do what I love, with the support of the people I love most.
How I Will Approach Your Wedding
I describe my work as natural, vibrant, and sharp, and that’s exactly how I aim to photograph every session. Using what I like to call “posed candids,” I gently direct you and your wedding party to bring out the vision you’ve dreamed of. With my ability to pose you in a way that feels natural and flattering, combined with the preparation we put in beforehand, we’ll create a story that’s uniquely yours.
While my style brings a cinematic, romantic, and dramatic touch, the story I capture is always in line with your vision for the day. I work with the natural surroundings, gently posing you to relive those precious moments, with a touch of drama that comes from the spontaneous magic of the day. And honestly, that spontaneity is my favorite part!
